Today is the 20 year anniversary of 9/11. I remember very few things from 20 years ago, but I will always remember where I was and the feelings I experienced as I watched the second plane crash into the World Trade Center 20 years ago. Honestly, 9/11 and the days, weeks, and months that followed showed me in ways I have never experienced before – what it means to be an American and what makes America the greatest country in the world.
The 2,997 lives that were lost and the many more who have been impacted by the 9/11 events can live on through each of us as Americans. The unification of our country, the display of humanity and selflessness that rose up, almost immediately across our country following the attacks of September 11th – 20 years ago is still within each us today. Let’s make a difference by being different…one person at a time, one workout at a time, one smile at a time, one starfish at a time :-). Thanks brothers.
