Introduction

Our theme is “The Point of No Return”…some of us have committed to Grow Ruck….some of us have committed to F3 Q’s, beatdowns….some of us have made commitments to ourselves. Let’s learn about Personal Abandonment and Absolute Trust as we press wholeheartedly into our commitments. In the year 1519, Hernán Cortés arrived in the New World with six hundred men and, upon arrival, made history by destroying his ships. This sent a clear message to his men: There is no turning back.

The Thang

Our theme for this morning is “The Point of No Return”…some of us have committed to Grow Ruck….some of us have committed to F3 Q’s, beatdowns….some of us have made commitments to ourselves. In the year 1519, Hernán Cortés arrived in the New World with six hundred men and, upon arrival, made history by destroying his ships. This sent a clear message to his men: There is no turning back.
The Call of Elisha
19 So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. 20 Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. “Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye,” he said, “and then I will come with you.”
“Go back,” Elijah replied. “What have I done to you?”
21 So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.
Think about your Commitments…are you ready to burn the bridge to go back and press into what God has for you. In my ministry we call this Personal Abandonment and Absolute Trust.
Let’s Burn some calories and muscles.

Circle of Trust

We heard from Wheezy as he shared about trusting God with a big move he really didn’t want to make to NWA, and how his fire came from knowing God wanted him to do it. We shared announcements about the 2F Float Trip and Grow Ruck and Prayer requests. And we got to name our FNG Jason Pluenneke “Big Data”.

Naked Man Moleskin

10 PAX showed up with commitment, ready to press into whatever God has next for them, burning the ships that would provide the easy way out. Now the adventure begins!
