The Thang
The Thing- 25- 30 Min
“It’s a Wonderful Life”, made in 1946, is the best movie ever made. Jimmy Stewart plays George Bailey, a man whose life has not turned out how he thought it would be. Every time he thought he could start moving toward his dreams, something happens to hold him back. He becomes very discouraged and even considers taking his own life, until he gets some help from up above. An angel, Clarence, shows him what the world would be like if he’d never been born.
We are going to turn back the clock to the year you were born, as we Mosey counter-clockwise in the Olympiad loop. We will stop along the way, and each time, you will do the following, according to the year you were born.
First Digit-Burpees
Second Digit- Squats
Third Digit- Big Boy Situps
Fourth Digit- Merkins
(Example- born in 1966 = 1 Burpee, 9 Squats, 6 Big Boy Sit-ups, 6 Merkins)
As you do this…think about what life would be like if you’d never been born…how would this affect your wife, your kids would not exist, your workplace, your extended family, your church.
Once we make it around the loop, we will turn around and go clockwise around the loop. Every time we stop, we will come back to 2021, and we will do:
