The thunderstorm was on the radar but never materialized. We didn’t even care because we meet rain or shine. This was the official grand “re-opening” of this AO, formally called AO – Thunder Chicken and now called AO – Rotisserie Fields.

NO RAIN: Count off, mosey to parking lot by batting cages: When QIC yelled “1” we double-timed it until everyone counted off then continued a jog.
Covered the intro to F3 counting and exercise demos for the FNG and performed the following:
A final mosey/double-time run around the big parking lot by the batting cages to the concession stand area by the softball fields.
Thang #1 – Paired up, performed the exercises below. #1 were moving exercises, #2 were stationary exercise, then partners switched
Sprint down/back 2x
Reverse plank hold
Thang #2 – Moseyed around the AO to show off the possible workout areas. Stopped at the picnic tables near the bathrooms/big pavilion and performed:
10 – Bulgarian split-squats (each leg)
Moseyed to the rubberized swing set area for CoT

Saturday meetup for communtiy involvement for the Pig Trail Mud Run at Ecclesia College. Meeting @ Walmart Elm Springs @ 6:30, leaving @ 6:45 to clown car to the event. There is a $10/per car fee to park. We will have a tent/table to spread the F3 message and rally some FNGs to post at AO – Rotisserie Fields or other AOs and join the fold. We will also support the event with setup/cleanup efforts (6:30AM – 12PM-ish)

I talked about the F3 Credo – “Leave no man behind, but…leave no man where we found him.” and added an inspirational quote from my recent Stoic philosophy reading from a Stoic sage Seneca, which I though was fitting.

Go out and find men that can use F3 and bring them into the fold. Let’s grow this!
